Maintenance Leader

Responsibilities:

  • Improve operator efficiency and productivity by optimizing work stations and processes. Improve machine Overall Equipment Efficiency.
  • Drive improvement of overall equipment efficiency 
  • Plan and coordinate the preventive maintenance plan addressing all opportunities and improving the system 
  • Ensure minimum no delays in manufacturing cost by machine breakdowns
  • Plan and control maintenance budget
  • Responsible for compliance with plant’s certification requirements ISO14001and BS OSHAS 18001
  • Spare parts availability and handling 
  • Responsible for cost productivity in the maintenance area
  • Responsible for the compliance and enforcing  the ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 50001 standards' observance in his own authority. 
  • The maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the optimalization of energy (electricity, gas) and water usage considering size of the production, headcount and technology. He is also responsible for maintenance of mashines and tools.
  • Based on IATF16949 requirement of defining roles and authorities, Interim Maintenance Supervisor has the following activities covered:
    • Reporting on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement, in particular to top management..
  • Proactively working on continuous improvement suggestions relating to his/her work to reach zero defect.
  • Provide continuous improvement opportunities by programming system solution and managing big data, and related functions.
  • Takes Process Owner responsibility for the following process(es): Maintenance - machine and facility

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • 4-5 years experience in manufacturing optimization
     

Skills:

  • Project management skills are required
  • It would be advantageous to be familiar with Acad and Solidworks
  • SAP experience would be distinctly advantageous
  • A good understanding of REFA motion and process analysis system
  • Ability to create, read & interpret Engineering drawings required
  • Detail conscious critical
