Your new role 

  • Lead the design and development of infrastructure scope in projects, including roads, utilities, drainage systems, and other necessary facilities.
  • Provide all infrastructure submittals from concept up to construction stages.
  • Design mechanical work for pump/lift stations, recreational lakes, swimming pools and water features.
  • Review and provide feedback on infrastructure design proposals, ensuring compliance with local regulations, engineering standards, and project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate design documentation and prepare regular progress reports for senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for infrastructure design improvement and optimization within projects. Identify potential infrastructure-related risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the design phase. Participate in project meetings, presentations, and reviews to provide infrastructure design insights.
  • Review/amend consultants’ RFP’s avoiding any scope gaps.
  • Close Support for Projects/FM teams to overcome infrastructural emergency situations in both under construction and living developments.
  • Support permitting process including all technical meetings with authorities.

What you'll need to succeed 

  • A degree or equivalent professional experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Solid experience in infrastructure design management or a similar role within the real estate or construction industry.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have experience directing complex solutions for architectural and master plan projects.
  • Capability to devise a strategy to ensure that specific client requirements are not only understood but also exceeded through collaboration with the client.
  • Proficient in interpersonal communication to convey the creative vision, concepts, ideas, and solutions to senior leadership, internal teams, and stakeholders with precision and efficacy.
  • Capacity for effective teamwork, including the ability to translate abstract brief into tangible, efficient and timeless design.
  • Managing and supervising a creative and technical team with extensive supervisory experience (including leadership, team building, and delegation).
  • A comprehensive understanding of contemporary technology, art history, design history, photography, the visual arts. 
  • Driven by a passion for close collaboration and communication with teams and other stakeholders through a distributed model, consistently submit design solutions for approval.
