Within the Financial Planning and Reporting department our Team provides business partnering support for numerous business units by preparing financial reporting in compliance with IFRS regulations.

Group Reporting Expert

Location: Budapest, MOL Campus

Scope of the position:

Here, you'll immerse yourself in comprehensive financial processes, playing a crucial part in shaping the company's financial direction and providing group-level financial reports in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). You will also be taking part in preparing Group-level regulations, handling and resolving specific, complex tasks within the framework of integrated operation.

Your tasks will be:

• Provide Accounting & Financial Reporting Advisory: Support transactions (M&A, divestments), implement new accounting standards, and ensure effective financial reporting processes.
• Prepare Key Financial Reports: Oversee stock exchange, management, and annual/interim reports for MOL Group.
• Lead Complex Closing & Reporting Tasks: Independently manage group-level consolidation and reporting for divisions and business units.
• Advise on IFRS in M&A Projects: Develop decision materials focusing on accounting impacts and represent IFRS expertise.
• Develop and Coordinate IFRS Policies: Ensure compliance with IFRS and industry standards, while implementing regulatory updates across the group.

We are looking for you if:

• You have a University or College degree in finance/economics/business or equivalent,
• At least 5+ years working experience within IFRS riporting,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,
• Strong stakeholder skills,
• Broader financial skills in addition to accounting knowledge,
• Analytical thinking,
• Proactivity with a problem solving mindset.

Advantages:
