Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller for our newly built factory in Kaposvár.
About the job:
As a Controller you will ensure the accuracy of monthly and cumulative financial statements and tax accounts for the Kaposvár plant. You will be responsible that teams to comply with tax regulations, legal reporting obligations, and company procedures. Additionally, you will handle reporting for Financial Planning and Analysis teams and the Legal Consolidation unit.

• Develop and improve costing processes, ensuring system infrastructure.
• Control production confirmations, raw material consumption, and input prices.
• Report and analyze costs, justifying changes.
• Fulfill monthly managerial reporting, including budget-actual analysis.
• Prepare financial statements and annual budgets, coordinating with Head Office.
• Conduct profitability analysis for products, customers, and segments.
• Establish and control investment budgets.
• Ensure compliance with Transfer pricing policies.
• Control departmental budgets and issue follow-up reports.
• Analyze and coordinate personnel data changes.
• Review severance and leave provisions.
• Optimize stock levels and monitor external warehouse inventories.
• Follow up on broken glass approvals per local legislation.
• Evaluate agreements for tax and legislation compliance.
• Check customer pricing and payment conditions.
• Manage receivables, collaterals, and customer risk processes.

What we need from you:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Controller
• at least B2 level, active English knowledge
• university degree
• experience in handling controlling activities independently
• SAP experience is a big plus
• strong reporting skills
• experience from a manufacturing environment is an advantage
• precise, accurate
