Responsibilities

The Beauty Med Group is looking for a new team member in  Finance and Accounting.

Main Purpose of the role:
Oversee and develop all financial and administrative activities in the group of companies of Beauty Med Group for the regions Hungary and Slovakia, including accounting, tax compliance, financial reporting and analysis. Provides control and information of the company’s assets and operations. Arranges for appropriate financing. Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements with regards to main activities. Develop and control finance procedures to improve efficiency.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting and analysis:
  • Oversees, manages and develops all financial activities of the group of companies, including accounting, tax compliance, financial reporting with focus on improvements to period end closing process.
  • Controls compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory standards.
  • Responsible for regular Financial Management report (monthly, quarterly and annual). Analysis of variances of results and performance metrics. Coordinates annual closing and audit of Financial Statements.
  • Performs Balance Sheet Reconciliation process. Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including (Intercompany) banking, customers, vendors, and accruals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Cash Flow and Reporting: Monitor day-to-day transactions and cash flows, and prepares reports and forecasts as required. Supervise bank and cash payment process.
  • Tax Submissions: Ensure timely and accurate submissions to tax authorities (VAT, Income Tax, Social Security & others).
  • Payroll Oversight.
  • Ensures compliance with group policies and procedures; Provides data to head office.
  • Provide the top management and shareholders of the company with sound financial advice that contributes to the overall effectiveness of the company’s plans and operations.

 

  1. Budget Process and Control:
  • Key responsibilities leading the Annual Budget Process; Coordinates with other departments and ensures preparation of Annual Budget Model.
  • Leads interim planning and Budget reviews vs. Actual Performance.
  • Prepares Balance sheet and Cash Flow forecasts as part of Budget process.

 

  1.  ADMINISTRATION
  • Supervise and control of sales administration process with regards to sales contracts, customer payments, etc.
  • Communication with stakeholders – customers, manufacturers, suppliers, auditors, government administrative bodies etc. Liaise with stakeholders and other senior executives to develop new company policies.
  • Ensure that the activities of a company are in compliance with local and European laws, ethical standards and regulatory policies.
  • Performs processes for registration of company premises, products and services in accordance with legal and regulatory provisions.

 

 

 

Requirements

Our expectations:

  • +5 years experience in a managerial finance role.
  • Experience in international environment.
  • Experience of integrating and consolidating different financial reporting systems would be an advantage. 
  • Excellent computer skills. Strong Excel and office skills are essential for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent knowledge of local applicable standards for the activity and IFRS framework.
  • Experience with accounting information systems; ERP systems.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Loyal, Self-motivated person with ability to work autonomously.
  • Detail-oriented and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Team Player: Service-oriented approach, collaborating seamlessly within a team to achieve collective goals.
