Country HR Director Hungary

Main responsibilities:

  • The Country HR Director will act as an ambassador, who is actively embracing the corporate values and leadership principles.
  • Developing and executing a local HR strategy.
  • Acting as a role model and trusted advisor to local management.
  • Leading the local HR organization in Hungary.
  • Supporting change, transformation and innovation.
  • Driving  the H2R end-to-end process and ensuring that the company is anchored as a strong employer brand.
  • Providing guidance to the local senior management on employee and organizational development.
  • Defining HR related KPIs in line with local and group HR goals.
  • Responsibility for local HR budget and Compensation & Benefits
  • Establishing good working relations with local employee representatives.
  • Supporting the creation of a safety culture and healthy work environment.
  • Managing recruiting and HR administration.
  • Improving employee engagement.
  • Reporting to local Managing Director and Regional HR Director.

Requirements:

  • University degree in HR or Business Administration.
  • Min. 5 years experience in HR Manager role in a large 500+ organisation.
  • Fluent English and native Hungarian.
  • Knowledge of local employment legislation.
  • Experience in organizational development.
  • Experience in trade union negotiations.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Familiar with production and commercial environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, analytical approach.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines.
