Responsibilities

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to hotel standards
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • Process guest check- ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, issuing and activating room key
  • Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest
  • Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
  • Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system
  • Assist in the preparation of work schedules, ensuring efficient operation of the Front Desk
  • Manage, monitor and improve the operational effectiveness of Front Office to provide a consistently seamless guest experience and comply with Hotel guidelines
  • Ensure departmental standards are being adhered to, taking appropriate action on areas that require attention and address any reoccurring issues
  • Assess problems or guest complaints or situations, taking proper, prompt, corrective action, ensuring the best possible satisfaction to our guests

Requirements

  • Previous Front Office experience preferred, especially in a luxury environment of at least 2 years
  • Knowledge of OPERA (or equivalent PMS) and experience in cashiering are preferred
  • Fluency in English language as well as Hungarian language
  • Excellent problem- solving skills
  • A sincere willingness to provide an excellent service to guests
