Applications Solution Architect

• Software Design and Delivery Lifecycle Governance: Oversee the design, development, and delivery of software according to Filtrona’s architecture standards.
• Technology Selection and Addressing Challenges: Recommend technologies and manage current and future architectural challenges.
• Project Estimation: Participate in accurate estimation of design and development phases, considering technical dependencies and risks.
• Applying Agile and DevOps Principles: Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices to maintain code consistency and reduce technical debt.
• Architecture Documentation and Communication: Create architecture specifications and communicate business value to development teams.
• Resource Management and Budget Planning: Manage resources and estimate project timelines and budgets.
• Quality Assurance and Testing: Ensure QA checkpoints, unit tests, and system acceptance tests are executed.
• Team and Business Guidance: Provide guidance to teams on best practices and translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, or relevant Software Development certification.
• 8+ years of experience in software architecture and/or development.
• Proficient in programming languages: Visual Basic, C#, C++, MSSQL, T-SQL, JavaScript.
• Experience with enterprise-grade client-server applications and integrations using Windows Server and MS Azure (IaaS/PaaS).
• Expertise in agile methodologies, CI/CD, and serverless orchestration.
• Strong DevOps mindset and experience in engineering processes.
• Proven ability to engage with product owners, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Exceptional skills in customer relations, presentation, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to train and guide teams on software design, deployment, and best practices.

• MS Certified Solutions Expert (various).
• Familiar with Rust and Python.
• Experience delivering high-performance solutions in manufacturing and supply chain.
• Knowledge of integrating warehousing systems, handheld devices, and peripherals.
• Experience with data migration and cutover planning.
